RED: in attesa della presentazione domani

Domani Jannard e soci, qua ripresi all'IBC, dimostreranno finalmente i progressi della camera del futuro prossimo, la Epic. E ve ne darò conto appena esce qualcosa. Notare le dimensioni della Epic in mano a Jannard... proprio contenute.

Nel frattempo alcuni annunci di ciò che si vedrà e degli sviluppi in corso:

1. The new Bomb EVF. 1/3 the size and weight of the original EVF with improved image quality. Can be used with EPIC and RED ONE systems.
2. A new EPIC OVF (optical viewfinder) module is in development.
3. New rods/rails, base plate and handheld system.
4. New battery technology that works in the accessory side handle and/or battery modules. You can also use RED Bricks with EPIC.
5. New types of flash memory recording modules along with CF card modules.
6. New Pro I/O module.
7. New LCDs, including two touch screen versions.
   

Inoltre miglioramenti sul nuovo sensore Mysterium-X sensor che includono: maggior dynamic range, valori si ISO più elevati, e minor rumore del sensore RED ONE Mysterium.
EPIC-X is 5K at 100fps with REDCODE 250. 4K and Quad HD at 125fps. 3K at 160fps. 2K at 250fps.
